Every time we went to Granada, it felt like a spiritual journey. Partially because of how impressive the Alhambra is – inside and seen from above, partially because of the Sierra Nevada view, but mostly because of the unique feeling we get when sitting at a terrace and just soak in the atmosphere.

The Great Expectations of Free Tapas
In Granada, you get a free tapa every time you order a drink. Some places let you pick the tapa; others pick for you. It’s an amazing way to spend your vacation!
The best way to experience this is to go on a Tapas Crawl (“tapear”) and figure out at the end of the day which places had your favourite tapa.
Just remember that this is a gift, not to be requested or judged. If your expectations haven’t been met and you didn’t get the free tapa you were hoping for – or if it’s not as elaborate as you thought it would be, honor the place and order from the paid menu. It will surely be very delicious!
