What to order

When you go to a place specialised in grilling like El Papatorio in Santiago de Compostela, you have to get something from that side of the menu. Being in Galicia, a region famed for its beef, you should get the Chuleton de Vaca Gallega. It’s a big cut, so make sure to share it!

Before the big event, we wanted to try some more Galician ingredients, so we ordered the Pulpo ‘á feira’ – possibly the most famous tapa from this area. It consists of a soft octopus, over potatoes and covered with paprika.

Another ingredient we wanted to try was the Vieira (scallop), so we ordered their version with a seafood cream and mushrooms, which was delicious.
